Fresher and fruitier than it’s Italian counterparts, Barolo and Barbaresco, but still VERY ‘Nebbiolo’.  Sour cherry, orange peels, and rose aromas waft  from the surface of this young wine, producing an expectation of luxury.  But, it is teasing.  The light body, tight tannins and slightly acidic twang and persistent bright cherry make this a brilliantly food-friendly wine.  Or, wait 5 or 10 years and watch it mellow.
