Description

Subdued fruit and  a hint of stewed tomatoes on the nose with more of a mineral/ashy presence.  Aroma becomes much fruitier with a few minutes of breathing.  The flavor is very reminiscent of dark berry flavored hard candy (minus the sugar).  That same flavor lingers in the tart finish.  Medium body, smooth, light tannin.  Leaves a spicy pencil shaving, Sweet Woodruff aroma behind when the glass is empty.
